The first to be born was Akehurst Pringle, her mum is Akehurst Primrose.
The second was Akehurst Bonny Lad.
The third was Akehurst Crossbow, his mum is Akehurst Rainbow.
There are five foals at the farm this year, four of them from Delia's ponies and the other, a
friend's pony.

The last to be born was Akehurst Mirabell, her mum is Akehurst HeatherBell. Unfortunatley,
Mirabell was weak and did not survive.

Although there were floods late last year, many of the fields are so dry they are cracking.
There is no grass for the ponies to eat in some fields and so these ponies are eating hay.
The tractor even needed to be modified before it could go on the fields.
Not all of them need more water, some could possibly do with drying off a bit. These pictures are in May, with some of the lower fields are still waterlogged.
