I have found a number of articles and diaries published on the web to be a useful source of information on suppliers and methods, so here is an attempt to offer information on suppliers and materials that might be of value. It is ironic that one of the most informative web sites covering vehicle restoration is devoted to diesel railcars, but many of the bodies were put together by companies who had built buses in earlier times, and nobody built finer engines for traction than AEC or Leyland! This is also an attempt to give good publicity to companies who have helped, and might appreciate a bit more custom.
