The Association aims to provide a stimulating programme of indoor and field meetings on diverse topics of interest to geologists from a wide range of backgrounds. A programme of events and newsletter are circulated when appropriate. Indoor meetings are free to members.

Membership subscription is currently (2024):
· £15 for ordinary members
· £5 for junior, student, unemployed or pension-holding members.
